Cosmetic Sclerotherapy
Overview
At Hogue Cosmetic Surgery, cosmetic sclerotherapy is performed on the legs using the FDA cleared sclerosing agents, sodium tetradecyl sulfate (STS) or polidocanol (POL).
Following each treatment session, compression stockings are then worn for several days up to a week or so, depending on the size and severity of the injected surface veins. The treatment interval for cosmetic sclerotherapy is usually every 2 months, with 1 to 3 sessions per leg representing the norm.
